GirlTrends is a girl group that was launched and debuted on It's Showtime After It's Showtime successfully introduced cute and talented boys in an all-male group called the "Hashtags". GirlTrends also known as “GTs” of many solid fans that supports them through all day to their performances and TV appearances of the ABS-CBN show. "Promoting girl power on Entertainment World " is one of the best slogan of GirlTrends on FaceBook Page that can surely apply to this industry of entertainment. It's Showtime is formerly known as Showtime and Magpasikat" is a noontime musical variety show that premiered on October 24, 2009 on ABS-CBN. The show broadcasts from the ABS-CBN Studios at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City. The show airs Weekdays at 12:15 pm to 3:20 pm and Saturdays at 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm, and is mainly presented by Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, and Amy Perez. The show is alo broadcast worldwide through The Filipino Channel. It's Showtime management created a new all-female group called the "GirlTrends" and it has just been launched on February 13, 2016. This It's Showtime's new girl group is composed of originally 21 members, that come from the ABS-CBN/ Star Magic talents with a members which mostly former of Pinoy Big Brother housemates. This is the complete list of the name of all the GirlTrend members that has been introduced and performed to the show of It's Showtime (in an alphabetical order) Barbie Imperial, Chienna Filomeno, Dawn Chang, Devon Seron, Erin Ocampo, Jane DeLeon, Jessica Marasigan, Joana Hipolito, kamille Filoteo, Karen Reyes, Kelley Day, Krissha Viaje, Leyana Magat, Loisa Andalio, Maika Rivera, Maris Racal, Mica Javier, Miho Nishida, Mikee Agustin, Nikki Gonzales, Riva Quenery, and Sammie Rimando. Then currently the noontime show was introducing them when they start to perform as "The Gorgeous Gals of Showtime". Then many changes happen that makes them to have an a respective team or groups on the show, that represent the monday, tuesday, wednesday, and thursday show. The management called the group as a TeamYoung, TeamSexy, TeamAngas, and TeamHataw. The Team Young with a representatives of a 6 members with Loisa, Maris, Sammie, Barbie, Riva, and Nikki. The Team Sexy with a representatives of a 5 members with Miho, Mikee, Kelley, Dawn, and Maika. The Team Angas with a representatives of a 5 members also with Chienna, Jane, Jessica, Joana, and Mica. The Team Hataw with a representatives of a 6 members with Devon, Erin, Kamille, Krissha, and Leyana. Every Friday their has a group called Team AllStars and Every Saturday has an Special Opening Prod with the Showtime's Hosts, Hashtags (Boy Groups), and Others Artists. Considering the large pool of talents that ABS-CBN has , this is a good venue and perfect stage for them to make them more professional artists.  The It's Showtime is showcase the talents of all people(Artist or Not), that we can be proud of in the future, and with the GirlTrends, they will surely hit/ slay the floor and loved by the people, of all ages!
